Lizzy Rothstein

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Lizzy Rothstein, PT, DPT is the founder and owner of Transcend Physical Therapy and Dance Performance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California Berkeley and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. As a dance medicine specialist, Lizzy is passionate about providing quality physical therapy care to youth through professional dancers. She emphasizes a holistic care approach considering the intersection of mind and body to optimize performance on and off stage.

Lizzy is an official physical therapist for the Los Angeles Ballet. She has provided on-site therapy for the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance and the Debbie Allen School of Dance amongst others throughout Southern California. She has also provided physical therapy services for a number of professional stage productions including Waiting for Godot (2024), Fat Ham (2024), POTUS (2024), The Brothers Size (2024), and The Inheritance (2022) at the Geffen Playhouse.

Lizzy is committed to helping shape the next generation of dancers both in the clinic and in the studio. As the current Head Coach of the UCLA Dance Team, she continues to serve as a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance educator in Southern California.
